We’ve got good news and bad news, Sandra Oh fans.

The good news is that the actress is making her long-awaited return to TV, and even more she’s doing it on ABC. The bad news? She won’t be making all of our wishes come true by stepping back into Cristina Yang’s scrubs on Grey’s Anatomy.

The network announced on Thursday that Oh is set to guest star on American Crime when the critically-acclaimed anthology drama returns for its third season in 2017.

Oh will appear in a multi-episode arc as Abby Tanaka, a social worker who runs a local shelter dedicated to housing victims of
domestic abuse in the face of community indifference. The third season of the John Ridley-created drama will be set in Alamance County, North Carolina and will tackle labor issues, the economy, and individual rights.

She joins returning stars Felicity Huffman, Timothy Hutton, Lili Taylor, Regina King, and season two breakout Connor Jessup. King just picked up an Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited Series or Movie for her work on the series, her second in as many years.

This marks Oh’s first TV gig since the took leave from Grey’s Anatomy at the end of season 10, when Cristina left her person Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo) behind in Seattle to take over ex-boyfriend Preston Burke’s hospital in Zurich, Switzerland. She’s been frequently mentioned on the Shonda Rhimes series since, though Oh hasn’t stopped by for any guest appearances yet. She was with the series since it premiered in 2005.

Now that she’s back in the ABC family, could a visit from Dr. Yang be next? We can only hope.
